Star Force: Mak'to'ran 2: Star Force Universe, ...
9,95 € *
ggf. zzgl. Versand

Mak'to'ran travels to the Hjar'at with information regarding the altered Hadarak and the alliance of extremely advanced races that Star Force has amassed...only to find even more treachery amongst the very militant Stegosauruses. Beginning the Star Force Phase Two timeline, the Mak'to'ran serial details the defeated V'kit'no'sat fleet commander's days following the attack on Earth and the fallout within the Dinosaur empire that results from it. For as bad as the treason regarding the Humans and the bastardized Hadarak is, and the implications that one of the two founding V'kit'no'sat races are behind it, a much larger rift within the empire is being exposed that has the potential to do what neither the Zak'de'ron culling nor the Rit'ko'sor rebellion accomplished. A full Dinosaur civil war. Star Force is a massive scifi franchise currently divided into two phases. Phase Two is the V'kit'no'sat war between Star Force and the Dinosaur empire. Phase One is the backstory to that conflict detailed in the Origin Series that contains 100 novella-length episodes. New listeners can either start with the backstory or jump right into the conflict with the Phase Two entry novel Lost Destiny. The Mak'to'ran series is written in heavy canon detail and not friendly to new listeners...unless you're adventurous, adaptive, and overly intelligent. If you are, then you might be worthy of being a V'kit'no'sat, in which case dive right in and learn how Jurassic Park got the dinosaurs oh so wrong. They're not attractions in a petting zoo. They're the masters of our galaxy.   1. Language: English. Narrator: Stephen Day. Audio sample: http://samples.audible.de/bk/acx0/151648/bk_acx0_151648_sample.mp3. Digital audiobook in aax.

The fracturing of the V'kit'no'sat Empire has now come to fruition, but the full-fledged civil war has not resulted. With the depth of experience and knowledge the dinosaur races have accumulated over the millennia, they know the destructive cost that such devastation would bring, and a conservative warfare methodology breaks out wherein the fighting is over territory while trying to spare lives and as much equipment as possible, so not to weaken the overall empire.Hence, the era of the Stun Wars has begun.Beginning the Star Force Phase 2 timeline, the Mak'to'ran serial details the defeated V'kit'no'sat fleet commander's days following the attack on Earth and the fallout within the Dinosaur empire that results from it. Jurassic Sediments in Andigama, Sri Lanka
32,90 € *
ggf. zzgl. Versand

Nearly one-tenth of Sri Lankan terrain consists of sedimentary rocks. Some Upper Jurassic sedimentary rocks are preserved in at least two or three faulted basins at Tabbowa and Andigama in North-West Sri Lanka. Unlike Tabbowa Jurassic rock outcrops, Andigama beds are completely covered by recent sediments. Detailed field geological, petrological and geochemical studies were carried out. Field observations, XRD and TGA analyses and petrological, geochemical studies show evidence for paleo-glacial depositional environments prevalent during the Jurassic period. Field and petrological studies of Andigama sequences indicate the potential for coal and oil shale occurrences. On the other hand, increasing trend of stratigraphical C content and volatile matter in the studied stratigraphic sections suggest the possibility of coal occurrence. Andigama beds also contain important clay minerals which can be used in industry. However, detailed stratigraphical and petrological studies should be undertaken on Andigama beds with a view to prospecting for occurrence of coal and oil shale.

Morphological Variation of Jurassic Bennettital...

Present study examines the morphology of Sri Lankan plant fossil of Bennettitales with the type specimens in the Natural history museum UK and details in the literature and systematically documents their diversity for assessing palaeo-environmental significance. Plant fossil-bearing mudstones of Jurassic age are present in a small faulted basin within the Precambrian basement rocks at Tabbowa, in the north western province of Sri Lanka. The present study reveals that fossils of plant species Ptilophyllum, Otozamites, Pterophyllum, Zamites, Dictyozamites of the order Bennettitales of Jurassic period are present in the Tabbowa sedimentary rocks, comparison with type-specimens of the Jurassic species confirms their unique and similar palaeo-environment prior to fragmentation of the Gondwanaland. Since there are no previous detailed morphological descriptions available for the Sri Lankan plant fossils comparing the features of type specimen, we consider that present descriptions provide specific details of Jurassic fossils of Sri Lankan Cycadophyta, facilitating work of future investigators.
